Our developmental optometrists have extensive experience as leaders in Vision Therapy and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation. Our three developmental optometrist, Dr. Michelle McKenzie, Dr. Virginia Donati, and Dr. Olivia Wiebe, have helped countless children and adults develop the visual skills needed for learning and day to day life. Dr. Donati and Dr. McKenzie are Fellows of the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. Dr. Donati is the current president of the COVT&R, the Canadian Optometrists in Vision Therapy and Rehabilitation, and Dr. McKenzie is the current vice president.

As a result of our dedication to the highest level of training in Vision Therapy, our practice receives referrals for Vision Therapy and Neuro-Optometric Rehabilitation, from ophthalmologists, primary care providers, pediatricians, optometrists, teachers, OT’s, PT’s, school nurses, neurologists, psychologists and others.

Dr. Virginia Donati

Dr. McKenzie is a graduate of the University of Waterloo. She holds Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry degrees.
